How to Read Your Personality Receipt: A Field Guide
Got your personality receipt but not sure what to do with it? Here is how to interpret each section and what it reveals about you. The Header: Your Total The total at the bottom of your receipt is not a score. It is a cost-of-living figure — the emotional cost of being you. A high total does not mean you are broken. It means you spend a lot of energy navigating the world. A low total does not mean you are simple. It means you are efficient. Line Items: The Behaviors Each line item represents a behavior or tendency. The quantity tells you how often it shows up. The price tells you how much energy it costs per instance. A behavior with high quantity and low price (like "Overthinking 47x at $4.70") is a frequent but manageable habit. A behavior with low quantity and high price (like "Existential Crisis 1x at $50.00") is rare but devastating. Reading Between the Lines The receipt does not tell you what to fix. It tells you what is there. The interpretation is up to you. Some items are strengths in disguise — "People Pleasing 23x at $3.20" might be draining, but it also means you care about others.
